Graphite and Charcoal

This is a relatively new medium for me; although I love using color in my paintings, I'm enjoying the challenge of creating textures and light with a black and white medium. These pieces are all originals, drawn on hot-press watercolor paper with a deckled edge, using all types of graphite and charcoal to create the maximum differences in values for dramatic effect. Each is framed with a signature textured matt, silver filet and complimentary molding.
