ORIGINAL ARTWORK COMMISSIONS AND PRICES: Cynthie will be happy to work with you in designing a custom painting for your collection! Due to her extensive biological studies, she is well-qualified to depict some of the lesser-
known and more exotic species of birds and mammals, as well as all of the popular wildlife subjects.
GETTING STARTED ON YOUR PERSONAL PAINTING:
Usually the first step is to decide on the size and price that fits your house and budget. Prices are determined by multiplying the length and width of the hardboard panel to obtain the size in square inches, and multiplying that figure by 10. Some examples are listed here:
9 x 12 = $1080,
16 x 20 = $3200,
22 x 30 = $6600.
The prices don't include framing, and are subject to alteration, depending on complexity and subject matter.
Once you've decided on a size and price, a 50% deposit is required before painting begins; you will also receive a detailed sketch of the painting for your approval. Completion time varies widely; a formal contract details all the terms of each commission.
OTHER INFORMATION REGARDING COMMISSIONS: The artist retains the copyright to all paintings. If your painting is selected to be reproduced as a limited edition print, you will be notified, and will receive several complimentary prints. Cynthie is also happy to produce a very personal painting of your trophy big game animal on request. Call and ask for details; Cynthie will need additional reference from your hunting trip to truly bring your animal back to life in paint.

You can never take too many photos of your trophy animal; feel free to call Cynthie and get some advice and tips on what she'll need to create a good painting of your personal animal. It helps to take lots of close-ups from several angles; even photos of the mount are helpful.
All commissioned paintings come with custom framing, ready to hang.
